battery and battery cable question for my G2
i was on here not too long ago and someone recommended a 24F battery for my G2. I just picked one up. It has 585 cranking amps. I also ordered myself some 4 gauge battery cables as the old ones are well.... old.
This particular battery has the rounded posts like for a car. The cables have that smaller #4 hole that i have seen everyone use a nut and tighten it on. my question is- is this the right battery? secondly is it ok if i just pick up some automobile style terminals at say Autozone or am I doing it all wrong? Is there a special terminal or did i just get the wrong style battery? thanks.. i know that a newbie kind of question but i want to get it right. Thank you! |
