Default Badboy Buggy Clicks, Runs then Loses Power

2008 Badboy Buggy 4x4 Stretch. I turn the key and it clicks at which time it runs for about 10 seconds before it clicks and loses power. Turn the key on again and it same thing. I put it in AWD and it runs fine with all four wheels working. Batteries are good and Narvitas controller seems fine. Nothing is hot or warm. I have no idea why it won't run steady on 2wd. Any advice would be appreciated.
Thx

Without a handheld to plug in that controller, it's going to be tough. My gut on where to start other than checking for loose connections, etc, would be to check the switch. loose connection or crimp (9 year old harness made in crude conditions) it could be worn. I feel the switch may need to be replaced.

Thank you for the info. I did a wire run check and everything seems good; no rust or corrosive wires that I traced. I'll do another check just incase I missed something. Thanks again.

The BBB I have been working on had the dual Sevcon Millipak controllers. Does your Navitas controller have any LED fault codes- flashing lights blinking?

From the description that it works fine in AWD, I'd check the 2WD- AWD switch and the wires going from it to the controller first.

Thx; no flash color codes but it does have a plug in port which I believe it's to read any codes. I'm in the process in finding a switch and I'll install and let y'all know. Thx again.

Yes, you're going to need that code reader.

Do you know anybody who has one of those handheld analyzers to sell?

EZGO,
My BBB classic is a little older than yours, but it has the Navitas controller. On top of my controller is a smaller silver box with an LED light on top. When it shows green, my buggy works fine. Recently, it started flashing a series of 3 red flashes over the solid green, and the buggy wouldn't run. There is a list of codes that I found on the internet, and this one indicated that the two sensors in the accelerator pot were reading different values, so my buggy wouldn't run. I replaced the potentiometer, and now mine works fine. The old pot had water in it.

McKay land is there anyway you can give me a list of fault codes you have. My cart just stopped working. I have the navitas 1000 controller with the silver add on box and when I turn the key on it get 2 clicks from the silver box and then the led is red and flashes green steady. I tried to count to see if there is a certaint number of flashes but it just seems to to be a steady green flash. Bad boy is no help so hopefully you can help out. Thanks in advance.

Ok gents figured out the problem and cost me nothing. Apparently there a recall on certain accelorator pedals which caused my problem. Recall paid and fixed the problem . Thx to all with their input.
