![]() just bought a 92 clubcar and was doing some maintenance. Chgd oil and filter, air filter, greased five fittings on the front. rear end oil was full and I noticed a puff of air when I removed the plug, is there a vent for this that may be plugged ??
Also what does the tranny take 80w90 ? I also increased the speed by adjusting the gov arm, once in awhile on a flat it hits the rev limiter, if I just let up on the gas it doesnt, is this ok ?? Or by adjusting the brass rod coming out of the plastic box up front can I stop this ?? Thanks seems like a great site |

![]() That would limit the throttle plate in the carb.... I don't think you want to do that.....
80/90 is fine for the diff. Train your ear to tell your foot to stay out of the revlimiter ...... ![]() |
