![]() I appreciate your desire to convert this to gas, but that axle is not designed for a gas engine. Do yourself a favor and find a gas club car axle. It can be shifted from forward to reverse. You would have so much time and frustration into converting that axle and in the end would not be truly happy with it.
If you insist on using that axle why not just stick with electric and have you motor rebuilt by someone like Plum quick or Electrical Motor Products. they can take your stock motor and do some awesome upgrades to make it really work well with even 36 volts. |

![]() Well then, I guess you're SOL.
Dude, if you don't have the scartch to do it, then why pursue the question? I don't think what you want to do has ever been done because it's easier and makes more sense to switch to a gas axle. That's how you do it. |

![]() QUESTION!!!
Why are you considering the change? Is the motor bad? Controller? Batteries? Your best and cheapest fix is to repair / replace the bad part... |

![]() Motors can be repaired or rewound for less than $300. New ones are $500. Take-offs from someone doing an upgrade are less than $200. All my prices are ballpark, but you get the idea.
