Default Tail light flickering

Merry Christmas folks!

My passenger side tail light is flickering and dim. The drivers side one is fine. What could it be and how do I access it? It appears that the tail light is on with double sided tape. Do i have to pull this loose?

Probably a ground issue. If it's mounted with double faced tape, I'm guessing it's not a stock type light. For the surface mounted lights (like a truck clearance light) you can usually pry the lens off & see the fixture inside. Poke around and see if you can get the light to brighten up - may show you where the poor connection is.

Take it loose and check for a bad connection. If the old double back tape won't hold again you can buy new tape at Walmart
