2000 G16E Not Working
I have a 2000 G16E which the PO said was working then just stopped. The PO did install a new solenoid. I downloaded a wiring diagram and checked to make sure that the wires and cables were in the right places and that there were no broken or shorted out wires.
I have some questions about some of the things I did find. 1. The limit switch part on the F R switch showed no difference on the ohm meter, both F and R showed .3 ohm. 2. The throttle sensor ohm readings were G-L=1.068 ohm. No difference whether pedal is depressed or not. W-L=1.15k ohm. Throttle not depressed 106 ohm Throttle depressed W-G=73 ohm. Throttle not depressed. 1.17ohm Throttle depressed 3. While checking out the solenoid I noticed the cable from it to the RE lug on the controller was showing 36.8 volts. I disconnected it from the controller and the RE lug on the controller was still showing the voltage. I have a couple more question about checking out the motor. 1. How do I test the motor for continuity and how do I hook up jumpers to the motor to make it run? Here is picture of notes I were taking as I checked the cart over this morning. Thanks In Advance |
