Default What is meant by replace all cables with 4ga?

I understand to replace all battery cables, and the cables from the motor to the forward/reverse switch. How about from the relay (receptacle on wiring diagram) to the controller, relay to the F/R switch? Basically any cable that looks like a battery-type cable?? Also, will replacing these factory cables with 4ga cables damage any components on the cart? Thanks!

Thanks for the quick response! I wasn't sure if the increase in current flow thru the 4ga wires would damage the factory components, thanks for clearing it up for me!
