I'm glad I could help.
I'm working on a solution for brighter lights but I don't have any solid answers yet. I've been looking for a HID solution but I've read that they will shut off when the cart is under load which I can understand. So people usually use a seperate 12v battery for them.
Also, I've been looking at LED / SMD lights. I have some kick a** flash lights that run off 9v and last a long time.
So LED /SMD might be a way to go.

Hey Jeffrop, I know why your lights are dim.
Per the pic you posted in another thread, you are only running 6v to your lights.
see my marked up version of your pic. It looks like you have the red power wire hooked up to the negative post of that battery on the left. That really only gets "positive power" from the battery on the right.
To get 12v, you need to move the red positive wire to the positive posy on that left battery. I circled it in red

When I replace all the cables I'll put new ends on everything too. I'm a bit anal when it comes to wiring. I just need to get the rest of my hardware and I'll tear into it.

Use heat shrink on all connector ends. I think that helps reduce corrosion.
I'm just about done messing with my cart, last thing I need is to find a deal on a back seat kit. I've found used kits for around $250 and new kits for around $350 and up.
You might want to consider a set of HD rear springs for your cart, if it doesn't already have them. I installed a set on my cart.
