Default 2000 G19 Cart - Regen Motor and Gear Set Opinions

Hello,
I purchased a 2000 G19 (48v) last month and am looking at doing a few things to speed it up. I am lucky if I'm getting 15mph out of this thing. I purchased the cart w/o any batteries so all of them are new.

Gear Set - The owner I purchased this from has a identical G19E with the 6:1 Gear set in it which he said he gets about 24mph out of it. I have heard the 8:1 would lose too much torque but as far as the 6:1, would this improve knowing I'm going to lose a little torque? I have heard mixed opinions on putting gear sets in a Regen setup. If so, why and is it worth taking my controller to get the regen setting decreased so its the least amount of regen?

Motor - I'm thinking of getting the Plum Quick Bandit Motor, anyone have any success with these in the G19's? I know there has been great talk about these units and may be worth me pulling the motor out rather than taking it to a local shop

Thanks for your time,

Call Rick or Robbie @ Plum Quick. Ask them the same questions and they will fix you up with a motor upgrade that will help you get what you want. Super nice guys!!
