My First Freebie
Went to drop off a cart an apartment complex Thursday and they wanted an old cart removed, They couldn't fit in the dumpster. FREE is always good, so I picked it up today! Borrowed my neighbors trailer and brought some old wheels from work and brought it home. I'm glad the boss told me to bring some metric
nuts as it was sitting on blocks. I took all of the connectors apart and cleaned them up a little with WD-40. The F&R was frozen, so I sprayed it with some penetrating oil and knocked it from front to back with a plastic Hammer to free it up. Hooked it up to 3-12V batteries for testing purposes and it runs! |

Re: My First Freebie
It runs on the jack stands. Now that I know the motor runs I'll put a little time into cleaning all of the cables(maybe just replace), and put some 6v batteries in it. I'll probably pressure wash it and then put it on the lift at work next weekend to check out the frame and everything before I put too much time or money into it.

Re: My First Freebie
It seems like a good freebie so far, I just wish it wasn't raining everyday after work so I can fix the brakes. The only issue I've found so far is where someone
welded the rear of the battery box to the swing arm and the rigging on the brakes. |
