Yamaha charger rebuild
Just goofing off here at shop and am going to try to rebuild the Yamaha charger48 volt 3hrv-306799, any info on a schematic and or a company that has a kit for these already?? I was an electronic tech back in the day so I am brushing off the cobwebs to attempt this just to see cost wise the difference,

I got a kit off of E-bay. Seems there was three parts to replace but the diode fixed mine. Cant remember the company's name

this is the 48 volt charger everyone says the fan is not running and gets very hot--SUCCESS I HAVE found and repaired these units and even got the fan to start cooling--with a little modification!!

Should the G19E Charger make an audible noise when charging? Other than the click when the charger on light comes on?

not unless theres a bad connection on one of the components, otherwise the main components have silicone base glue around them to keep the vibration noise away, and the choke coils have plenty around them.

I had a sparky repair guy rebuild some of those for me too, the rebuild seems to last about as long as the chargers lasted in the first place (not long enough to brag about). He was charging $250, for that price, i would rather get the customers a Dpi, and be done with that charger.
