Default G22 Voltmeter

Been lurking a copuple years and finally picked up a 2005 G22. I want to install a voltmeter but would like to find an easy place to get the 48V rather then run wires back to the battery bank. Did a search and couldn't find anything on it.

Anyone have an idea on a convenant place to tap into the 48v circuit that is near the dashboard?

Try the keyswitch? If you have lights, then you probably have a B- source up there too. If no lights, than B- likely have to be run direct from batts.

I agree, you could use the keyswitch, that way it goes on and off with the key...

you will still have to run a "ground" wire back to neg battery post for meter to work, and a cheap voltmeter will tell you which wire has power, at the swich one wire will have power until you turn the key then both will have power, going to have to butt splice to the wire that is hot when the key is turned

Exactly, that is the way I have it on my cart. Hot wire to key switch, ground wire to main negative on pack...
