Default 2014 Yamaha

Today my wife and I went shopping for a new cart. We never even considered Yamaha until we test drove one, we were sold pretty fast! We went from a 97 club car to this 2014 and it's amazing!

Spent the day just cruising around the campground so I don't know how fast it'll go, but I noticed the sticker on the steering wheel says it is capable of 19mph, and it has reflectors and head/tail lights. Could this mean it has the speed package?

If it truly does the 18-19 mph, it has the PTV/speed code.

You can download a speedometer on your smartphone.... And very accurate.... I checked mine against the road side police scanner... Same speed

The steering wheel sticker IS different for carts equipped with the 19mph PTV speed package, so there is a very good likelyhood that it is setup for 19mph.

Yep, sticker says something like Goes faster than ANSI spec for a Golf cart. (around 12~14 mph). ANSI is a group that cart manufacturers (and many other industries) volunteerly adhere to in their build rules. If anyone were to look it up, they would see all the ANSI guidelines for "golf carts", "PTVs", "LSVs", ect, ect, and would understand why the US manufacturers sell "golf carts" in the US that go only 12 mph. I think its all for "lawsuit proofing", but i also dont live in CA (nothing against the sane people in CA).
