Re: 99 TXT rehab
Finally wrapping up.
Went with an Alltrax SR48500 controller, SW202 reversing contractor, 2 ga battery cable set, and 400amp super duty solenoid from ScottyB. Got a set of 12” wheels and 23” tires from Golf Cart Tire Supply. 6x8v U.S. Batteries as they seemed like the best deal locally with Trojan t875s being out everywhere. Picked up a Lester summit today from Facebook marketplace (non-Bluetooth- hope this doesn’t become an issue with the US batteries requiring a slightly different charge profile from my gathering) Topped off the water in the batteries and it’s getting it’s first full charge. New tinted windshield should be in tomorrow Sorry for the sideways pictures. Not sure how to rotate them. |

Re: 99 TXT rehab
Awesome build. I wish I would had invested in a sprayer, instead I used rattle cans. I’m waiting for my stuff to arrive from Scotty B as well.
Great work, definitely inspirational for a non mechanic like myself. |
