Ok, cool so should work for my stripped 1996 TXT that needs a new main harness...and plug into a 48v series, correct?

No, not exactly.
The TXT48 is not a series cart. You need a standard 36v series harness and just run it on 48v.

Okay.... so.. I cannot use this harness? I specifically bought this and stated I wanted to keep it Series and just put the electronic FNR where the clunky mechanical switch was at.

You are saying this will not work with that?

This crap is infuriating...I need to take the cart to someone.. but with this covid crap... no-one has an office that I can drive up to and say "ok... sell me what I need".... unless the answer I get is, "we will let you come in and strip an old junker and buy the wiring harness off it.... which I do not want to do.

Sorry... you are all super helpful. Not upset with anyone, just trying to get the next part and one minute I think I have the list down pat and then the next someone else says, "no, this is what you need"... and I am back to square one... heh

Just tired of this covid crap... want to haul it to someone and say, "ok... sell me the friggin wiring harness I need".. grin

Okay... spoke with Buggies Unlimited. Since I already ordered an entire street legal kit that has it's own wiring harness, I should be able to just run my own wires to the pedal and starter.

That do not have an OEM wiring harness for a 1996 electric TXT so... eh.. no big deal.

Sending back the one I got

I totally understand the covid frustration. I had to do a lot more of my own mechanicing than normal this past year and I've had to defer some too. Hang in there.

So, is this more in line of what I should be looking for?

I always bought wire harnesses from shopezgo.com. There are 2 parts for the series cart. I don't have part numbers

Yea, called them and got ahold of a guy and he seemed confused. Finally told me he was going to get help from the 'engineers' and would call me back. That was this morning heh.

Will try again tomorrow.
