Default is this normal?

I just bought a 2003 ezgo it has new lift kit ,08 batterys , big tires ,new seats, floor matt,light kit, and battery charger .. paid $2800 .We live on a street with a slight hill and it has some loss of speed is this normal? or did i get screwed ? can i add something to make it faster up hill ?

I don't think you got a bad deal If you add up all the cost of all the goodies on the cart at retail, you about got the cart for free.

You may check the batteries though.

thanks , I have had them checked they were in good shape the guy said and told me they were 2008 batterys and should last a few years if i keep up on them. is speed loss up hill normal ?

Yes, Some speed loss is to be expected.

The bigger load (# people) in the cart there are the greater speed loss is to be expected.

Yes, it is normal if you are running a stock controller. Is your car a PDS or Series car? Does at have 4 guage cables? You can add either a new after market controller and/or a higher torque motor if you are willing to spend the money.
