G22 throttle adjustment
While changing the choke cable today I noticed my throttle isn't opening all the way. Didn't have much time to get under it to see...... Anyone know how to adjust the cable? There a adjustment nut somewhere on it?!
Thanks Firedowg |

Re: G22 throttle adjustment
I alway's recommend leaving alittle slack on accelerator cable #1 (at the pedal), that way the lead end won't break off. Accelerator cable #2, (the adjustment is made at the bracket on the transaxle just below the starter/generator) and should also have alittle slack (so the the engine turns over and the ignition fires before the throttle shaft opens, but tight enough you get full throttle. Hope that helped.
