Help identify please, Club Car Axle
Picked this up since I felt it was a good deal, not sure what I am going to do with it but first I need to clarify what year range this axle is. Any help would be great...

Re: Help identify please, Club Car Axle
My Google skills must be failing me!
Couldn't find anything on either: MC008A-BS01 MC008A5C1093 MC008K-BS01 MC008K5B4209 Part numbers in the IPL for my 1998 DS aren't even close. They are all 101#### or 101####-##. Even searching for my numbers to try to get back to MC008K-???? got no results. It's for sure a Unitized Transaxle from a gasser. |

Re: Help identify please, Club Car Axle
Did you rotate the clutch shaft to see if it is a cw or ccw rotation axle?

Re: Help identify please, Club Car Axle
Remember that they are geared lower in reverse,so if you turn it Ccw and it turns the axle Cw,compare that to the amount it turns when you shift it while still rotating it Ccw at clutch.Hope this helps.

Re: Help identify please, Club Car Axle
OK, not a CC guy but I went and played with it. I noticed the passenger side was not turning so figured this may cause an issue, finally got the drum off and it has been sitting for some time minus one screwdriver
With what I believe to be the shifter has three positions, the last one being no turning of the axle at all, but it always seemed to be turning cw for both the shaft and axles, if I turned the shaft CCW the axles went backwards dunno??? Remember I do not have a cart to hook this too.... |

Remember too, that a club car has the clutch on the pass.side of the cart, opposite of the others.

Re: Help identify please, Club Car Axle
I would try holding both axles while someone turns the drive shaft. While floating, there's no telling which way the axles will spin. Thats gotta be a CCW rear diff. Just like mine.
