Re: Cart Cart, 89 Marathon reconstruction
pm sent back with email
i noticed my frame is pretty thick,1x2x 1/8 inch minimum..when seeing others jump these carts, and me knowing a lil about metals and such i cringe when they jump over lil hills the worst part in my cart is the cross member that the swing arm attaches to..its like half full of rust and crap from the 80,s but since i have 3 ft long arms it dont really have no pressure on it so it can wait a while to get replaced.. it must have something to do with how front and rear is set up,,as i would think we would see more carts that just bend or break in half near the floor area i want to beef mine up in that area but not sure its really needed as i dont jump it lol..but it does take a brutal beating in the woods and still amazes me the things i can drive thru/over with just 1 wheel doing all the work |
