Finch, you need to try to clean those parts up. Dirt is your worst enemy with an open clutch!

I've got a project G2 sitting here waiting on a project build. The clutch looks just about as bad as that one. And I was riding it around before pulling the engine.

I'd suggest the splined spacer being installed rather than the clip as well. My clutch still has the clip on it so I need to find someplace sells just that spacer.

After filing the splines and a few choice words I have got the clutch on! I am waiting on the battery to charge and i will be testing it out. Thank you guys so much for the advice!

Well, got the battery charged and went on a test run and boy is there a big difference! Before if i went up any kind of incline i would have to get off and push but now it just pulls right along with no problem!

You can get it, think mine came from CPP but others also have them. It sits on the end of the splines instead of the groove. My clip was bent over sideways and still working, with the stock clutch.
