94 ezgo slugish after hei mod
I just did the hei mod on my 94 ezgo and it is real slugish. Want go over 10 miles an hour. Any help would be great. Plus the plugs are getting real black. Thanks

Try switching the pulsar wires.

Re: 94 ezgo slugish after hei mod
I switched the wires an no fire. I also put a new timing belt on. I lined up all the timing marks as per the repair manual. What the easy way to check the timing once i pull the motor out. Any advice would be help full.

Re: 94 ezgo slugish after hei mod
Did you reuse the old coil? I have read that many had issues with the old coil and switched to a new hei coil and this solved the issue.
Also a weak stock coil sometimes only fires on one plug making it run badly. Do you have a timing light or can borrow one? Need to check the timing while running. The hei module fires slightly different from stock cdi and sometimes you have to readjust the timing. |

I'm also going to assume that you already adjusted your valves.
