Default SLOW DCS after XCT48400 upgrade

I just upgraded the stock controller on my 97 DCS cart to an XCT48400 from ScottyB. Cart runs but jerks as little bit when not taking off at full throttle. Plus my top speed is the same whopping 13mph that I had before. Contoller starts up fine, 4 flashes green then solid indicating that it is set for (and I am assuming sees) the ITS sensor. Could this still be the culprit. I just found out that DCS carts do not have a speed sensor, so that rules that out. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks!

I also just saw on cartsunlimited that Alltrax controllers after 01/1/17 need no resistor or diode. Wouldn't seem to cause a problem (at least the diode) but just curious.

Thanks !

Check battery voltage. At rest and under a load. A DCS cart should run at least 18-20 mph with that controller.

Need to see what code it's flashing when it runs, best done on jackstands. My guess is solenoid welded code, if you used a resistor/diode, as this is done internally by the XCT

If no speed sensor uncheck the speed limit box in the software. If you haven't already
