Gtw rear flip seat Yamaha EFI drive 2 fitament issue
I just bought a Mach 2 rear seat and the instructions have you drilling a hole in the crossmember Of the rear frame exactly where the rear subframe bolt attaches. It would be fine to let the new bolt that secures the new rear seat bracket to replace the oldsubframe bolt but 1 - had I followed the instructions as written, I’d be drilling right into a bolt and 2- even when you remove the other subframe bolt, your drilling right on to the nut for the old bolt. Do I have an incorrect set of brackets or has anyone else had this issue?

You have to remove the bolt and drill threw the threads with a drill bit large enough for the kits larger bolt.
