Default EZGO steel wheels / tires?

I am trying to figure out if I can put 21 inch tires on my stock steel rims on my 81 EZGO. I know I'll need to lift the cart, but do they sell larger tires for the stock wheels? Also what size would I be looking for and any suggestions on sponsors?s

Lifted carts with large tires require offset wheels to fit properly. Your stock wheels are not offset wheels.

Not without adding a lift kit...

without offsets and a lift, as soon as you turn to the locks large tires will rub and bind under the front end.

Yes they do malke bigger tires to fit your 8 inch wheels, but I am against doing it.

reason 1: It makes the cart unstable having a large sidewall on the tires and they flex too much for comfort, but that is just me.
reason 2: Most of the time is is cheaper to buy wheels and tires together than using your old wheels if you stay with steel wheels.
resaon 3: I recommend atleast a 10 inch wheels if not a 12 inch wheel with anything over 20 inch tire.
reason 4: for them to fit properly you will need spacer to space the wheels out for proper turning.

Thanks for the detailed explanation. Onward to look for tire/wheels and some spacers. Any suggestions?

if you get wheels with your tires you will not need spacers. most come with the correct offset.
