2, 3, or 4 clamps strapped together would work also!

Hi
I installed the muffler hose clamp but I am still having a rattling problem. I think I found the cause of it and wanted to to see it the front engine mount in the attached picture it stock. I did place a couple of rubber washers in between where the two steel plates hit each other and that solved it for a short period and then they bounced out. Is the front "mount" supposed to be welded or bolted or can it move up and down 1/4-1/2" during acceleration like it is now?

Your missing the "snubber"!

It's a rubber cushion, that allows the front of the engine pan to move freely up and down!
