Default Confirm correct wiring for IQ Plus Solenoid?

I am not sure about the red and pink wires going to the big terminal on the battery connection side. Can anyone confirm these are correct?

Do you have a voltage converter somewhere on the cart?

Not that I’ve noticed. It is a Carryall 6 with factory full factory lights, so it may well have one from CC.

I would see if you could trace back the wires.

Ok…

Yellow wire goes to relay next to the controller.

Red wire goes to the pictured connection right off the solenoid, next to the onboard charger. Anybody know what this plug is used for? Maybe the factory onboard charger? Seems like I can leave at least the red disconnected.

Pink has continuity with the tow/run switch?

I verified on the iq plus wiring diagrams that the pink and yellow small wires should goto the big terminals. However, I have a rebuilt controller in and while it’s now powering up, I’m getting a Main Contact Overcurrent error on my handheld. The cart is not yet running/solenoid not clicking, so I’m not sure if I have a solenoid wiring problem. Do I need the diode that came with this solenoid installed? I heard and read my controller has one built in. Also my solenoid has polarity markers on it.

Any thoughts on the main contact overcurrent and symptoms?

Thanks,
Ray

I’m getting 185 ohms across the solenoid small terminals. Is this correct? I read yes, then I read Sergio say it should be around 15.

Depends on what type solenoid you have. Some have a low resistance "pull in" coil that gives a low reading. Some don't have that and will read higher. Yours probably doesn't have a pull in coil so the higher ohms is fine.
