Default 2006 club car intellilok popping and banging

My 2006 factory camo intellilok version precedent is in sad shape. She bangs, knocks and clangs when you press the go pedal. Especially bad when turning and pressing the go pedal. if you press the go pedal very slowly it will move but if you try to go faster it starts to sound like its coming apart inside. I checked the diff fluid and its metal flake paint looking and the magnet has chunks of metal on it. Any help is appreciated on how to determine whats going on.

Sounds like you grenaded the rear diff then if you have disco fluid and chunks of metal.

It may just be an input shaft or something simple.

I’d take it apart and see what’s broken. It may be easier/cheaper to fix yours. Or it may be completely grenaded. But you won’t know until you open er up and see.

There really isn’t much going on inside of there. A few gears and that’s about it.

Take out the motor, disconnect the brake cables and unbolt the shocks and u bolts from the leaf springs. It should drop right out

Wow, took it apart, the locker portion of the gear case guts was in pieces. New rear end en-route from Georgia now, old one was not going to be an easy fix. Thanks for all the replies.
