Are the Series drives or Sepex drives (PDS)?

If the F/R selector is a rocker switch on dash next to the key (see attached image), they are PDS drives and easy to reduce speed, but if they are series drive, slowing them down will take some doing.

Flip the cart to tow, remove the controller cover, remove the plug at the top left of the controller, should be a double loop of red wires, put cover back on, flip it to run and you should be at 13.2 mph.

Will look like this

No, you will be removing this part from the cart, not adding it. You can verify if it's there without even looking by putting the cart in "diagnostic mode".look on the motor controller cover sticker for instructions how to do that. Itll be "put it in neural, click it from reverse to neutral 5 times", it will beep at you again after that. If it beeps 4 more times, it's telling you its in "Freedom mode" (19mph) for its speed setting. Removing its red jumper shown in the pictures puts it in slow mode.

The PDS has four modes of operation that are selected by which pins are jumpered on J2.

The all terrain or golf mode is no jumpers at all, so just removing the plug from J2 puts it in that mode.

Attached are images the list the four PDFS modes, the jumpers for those mode and the label with error codes and how go put controller into diagnostics.

The PDS controller RPM limits the motor to produce the speeds give in the chart when the cart has stock height (18") tires.
