Do not put any additive that is thick in any engine that uses a splash system to lubricate (typically any engine that does NOT have an oil filter/no oil filter usually equals no oil pump). And I would NOT use any oil over 10w30. Example: take whatever you are thinking of putting in your engine, pour it into a cup about half way, take a popsicle stick and see if you can easily splash or fling any of it outside the cup. If not, don't use it. This is a great test because you get a free popsicle before doing anything.

what do you think of using a 5-30 synth blend?
