This might help you. http://www.buggiesgonewild.com/gas-e...fuel-pump.html

How much fuel came out?

I have never tried to make mine quieter, but back pressure is an issue with these.

Thanks, I will be taking it off today.

It pumped a lot of fuel and it spurted with plenty of strength. I am beginning to think the needle seat on the float shut off is dirty.

Time will tell.

If this has the power of a good engine and clutch, what can I expect in snow?

I use mine all winter and it does great. I leave it in a covered carport and I do have to choke it a bit when cold but I use it every day to feed the critters. A bit of advise keep a spare plug on hand if needed.

Thanks...we bought it to use for hunting and I can't wait to see how it does in hilly terrain with snow. I would assume that the big front tires could push snow if it's 6 inches deep and make it tough to go but we shall see.

What was the final verdict?

Is it running?

Was it the fuel pump?

yes, it was the fuel pump and it runs fine now. Next is the steering, it is all over the place.
