88 ez go gas / no fire
I have an 1988 gas ez go 2 pg. it's been running. Son and brother in law had issues with it not staying charged. had them replace regulator. Well that got changed. but have other issues now. engine turns over and everything, but will not fire or kick in. I had this issue with my older 84, and for the life of me, I don't remember what I did last time. Please help.

Has it run since they changed the regulator?
This is your diagram. You will see that there is a wire from the voltage regulator going to a small terminal on the solenoid. There should also be two other wires attached to that same terminal. http://www.buggiesgonewild.com/attac...n-retrofit.jpg I suspect that they missed one. There is also a wire that goes to the ignitor from the regulator. |

No it hasn't. so I am going to start over from the beginning and recheck all the wiring from the diagram and go from there. As of last night, I was not getting any spark from the plug, so that there is also an issue with what I have going on. will revisit it tonight when I get home.
