Re: Motor Upgrade
The info on this site, and the knowledge that some of u guys have is incredible. I've learned a ton for a newbie to golf carting. I have upgraded to a 500 amp controller, HD solenoid, 2G wiring, and upgraded FNR switch, lift kit with oversized tires. I've read enough comments on this site to know that if you ask 3 different people what is the best motor upgrade to buy, you'll get 3 different answers lol. Well, it's my turn to ask. Not wanting to go 30 mph, just a decent upgrade in speed, maybe low to mid 20's, but I will need some decent torque as I live in a somewhat hilly neighborhood. 2002 IQ. Suggestions please.

Plum Quick Bandit Upgrade: "Bandit upgraded Club Car 48 volt IQ GE brand motor, black stock controller, speed around 22 – 24 mph (estimated) and 25+% increase in low end torque with all stock components and that annoying regen braking is disabled." You will still want to tune your controller down to work with it as 500a is a lot. If you wanna get all the bang for your buck on that 500a controller, then got you a PQ Executioner! $625.00 https://plumquick.com/custom-built-m...oner-club-car/ "New Custom Built Motor, Class H Motor Rating, High Performance Brushes, Speed Club Car 48 volt Sepex IQ 10 Spline 11.7 HP, Speed 28-32 mph (estimated), and added 10% more torque" |

Re: Motor Upgrade
I was considering the Executioner when I upgraded to the 500. Couple of friends have gotten good service with it. Decent torque you think ? Can it be fine tuned for what I need ?

Re: Motor Upgrade
You have no idea - Look at my signature. If you have an Alltrax XCT, there are 2 custom maps for that motor that will light the tires up. Torque is great! Then you have the ability to customize it all you want with the Alltrax Tool Kit from your PC.

Re: Motor Upgrade
The Admiral A4 gave my cart a boost to the low 20s and serious torque.
