2014 Club Car Precedent 48 volt

I have a 2012 Precedent and my buddy has a 2014.I was wondering if he could use my charger to charge his.His is a different charger then mine.Just don't want to blow nothing out.Also how do you check the voltage on each battery.Do you have to disconnect each one and isolate it and I assume it should be at least 8 volts. Thanks Ron

What charger does he have? What charger do you have?

If his charger is a Delta Q ERIC charger, then NO your charger will NOT charge his cart.

The 2012 Precedent uses an OBC and Powerdrive 3 charger and the 2014 uses the ERIC charger.

Neither charger will do anything bad (or charge) if plugged to the other model, the engineers at Club Car designed it that way since the plugs are the same.
