G29 Flywheel Question
I have a 2011 Yamaha gas cart and am in the process of freshening the engine up because it has been smoking. When I got to the flywheel, there were quite a few fins broken off. My question is should I replace it? I use the cart to simply play golf at my home course. A lot of stop and go is pretty much the extent of use. Also, I bought a JN6-85650 flywheel off ebay for $50 bucks not even paying attention to the part number or realizing that the flywheel was for a G16. I thought I was scoring a hell of a price considering I was pricing them at $199 at the lowest. I'm going to assume this flywheel wouldn't work even though the engines between the two look the same. Any help would be much appreciated.

Re: G29 Flywheel Question
I see no reason the G16 (JN6) flywheel wont work. The engines use the same crank and TCI.

Re: G29 Flywheel Question
That would be great if I could use the flywheel from the G16. I did notice that both used the same TCI, but figured there was a reason for different flywheels.
