Default Tire size?

Hello. I am thinking about getting 20" tires on my Drive. From the research I have done it appears this will fit without having to do a lift. I also have a rear bench so my question would be am I going to have any problems with clearance with my kids sitting in the rear.

Thanks in advance. Scott

You may have clearance issue if you put a heavy load on the back. I am running a 215/50-12 and am fine with no back seat... The 40 series is what most people run.

I went ahead and ordered 20" tires, but also ordered the Jakes Heavy Duty Coil Springs. I am hopping this will take care of any load issues.

While you have your wheels off, drill a hole through the mud flap into the rear bumper, then use a Christmas tree fastener to pin the mud flap to the rear bumper. Will really help with rubbing. A screw could also do the same job, I just prefer the cleaner look of a black fastener on black plastic.

I found an Allsport 1" lift kit for the Drive model that I am thinking I may run now that I have put a back seat on my Drive2. I don't really want to go to the heavy duty springs as we really like the ride of it now.

What's the lift going to do for you? not improve stability when loaded.

Provide clearance for the tires. I am running 215/50-12s and when someone is the back seat the tires rub on bumps. I am leaning more for the Yamaha OEM 2" lift... It is for the Drive model... just need to figure out if it will fit the Drive2
