2011 ydrex solenoid kicks out

My issue is it seems like the solenoid is disengaging when I pass half way on the gas peddle.it will just stop when I increase past 1/2 way on the gas peddle, When it does this I can switch the tow/run switch from run to tow and back to run and it seems to reset where I can go. There doesnt seem to be any problems as long as I stay below 1/2 throttle. Also is it normal for when I rock it back and forth with the key off to hear the solenoid clicking?

Solenoid engagement when off is to prevent cart from rolling away. And the main problem is probably weak batteries. I bet if you monitored battery voltage during this failure, you would see a huge voltage drop just before the solenoid shut down.

I havent checked voltage during the issues but before and after the battery voltages have been consistent. Today after a full charge they have shown 8.4 before and after it kicks out

Not before, not after.... during the failure. Carefully put your meter probes in the charge port for whole pack voltage.

Thank you, yeah it dropped from 48v to about 12v when it happens. Guess I'll be getting some new batteries now
