Default Anyone try the Carlisle X trac on stock rims?

Hi everyone I am new to the forum,

I have an 88 EZGO 2 stroke and will be using this as a base frame for a custom cart build. We recently ordered the 4 inch basic lift kit (risers) and were looking at a heavy traction mud off road tire that would fit on the stock 8inch wheels.

I found the Carlisle X Trac Tire 16x6.50-8 2 Ply and was curious about other peoples experience? Was the 4 inch lift kit high enough to mount them? Any feed back about these tires would be appreciated or another tire that is similar in price and traction. Thanks in advance.

I don't know exactly what that tire looks like but the first number is 16 so it's actually a shorter tire than an 18 stocker, So it should easily fit with or without a lift kit

I've tried tractor lug type tires before.

They work, but not that great. Golf carts don't spin the tires fast enough to really clean out the tires. I try to stay out of the mud, for the most part. Those Xtrac tires are probably going to be too short at only 16 inches.

I personally run the Kenda Speed Racer tires, in a 19 inch diameter (ATV Tires.) They are great on the pavement, and pretty decent off road as well.
