Default Alltrax field map

Just installed the alltrax xct500 with big solenoid. Stock tires and motor. I am only getting 19 mph. The rpms seem to max out at 4100-4200 even though the speed limit is set at 5500. In the monitor file I see three columns all the way to the right. They say throttle position, throttle pointer and overtemp cap. Overtemp cap is 4095. At max throttle (100%) throttle position and throttle pointer read 4095. Is this some other setting that is limiting the speed?

First off, make sure you have the amperage turned down to 400, as that's all the stock motor can handle without burning up. Which motor do you have, the black AMD or gray GE? Also, which field map are you currently running?

For some reason I cant get my password reset so I had to create another account. Anyway - I have an EJ8-4001A motor. I seem to max out at about 4600 rpm. I am wondering if my voltage is too low? The batteries are only a few months old. Here is the monitoring file. I hope

Your RPMs sound about right for your stock motor with stock tires. 20 mph is about all you'll get out of this setup. If you really want to unleash the potential of your controller, you can upgrade to a high speed motor.

You are using the wrong field map for that motor, check this post and read that thread:

Thanks. Used the new field map and got up to 22. Does anyone know the typical rpm to volts I should be seeing?
