Default 93 Club car DS roof mounting

Hello All

I am new to forum and hope to meet and chat with some of you.

I recently bought a 93 club car DS 36V electric cart. It doesn't have front or rear struts. I bought a newer Top for a DS 2 seater. Which type struts will I need to mount it? Any suggestions will be appreciated

Hopefully you can find someone with an earlier DS that did a body swap. The natural aluminum struts on your rear seat are factory. The factory roof struts are made of the same extruded aluminum you have there.

The front struts on my '99 are factory but the rear ones came with the rear seat kit and had to be modified to fit. The factory rear struts are multipiece units that form the golf bag holder.

If I were you I would contact David Hicks at: 706-431-3917.
(http://www.revolutiongolfcars.com) He is a site sponsor and previously had a lot of DS parts from conversions. He may be able to help you find something.

I went to the local cart place by me and they had a bone pile of stuff; lots of top parts. I think I gave $10-$15 for all of my support pieces that I needed (complete setup). You might try that if you have a place near you.

Welcome to the page!

You're going to need a new style 2000.5 and newer front windshield frame to bolt down to the cowl. As for the rear braces, because Club Car never used that particular seat kit with the new style top, there aren't any braces that are going to just bolt right up and fit. Whatever you do in the rear is going to have to be totally custom.

Lots of carts for rent there. Lots of scary places to ride too! Traffic can be horrible at times.

But have fun! Be sure to check out the capsized Golden Ray Auto transport ship being cut up just off the St. Simon's Pier. It's quite an operation going on there.
