Default Need club car caroche frame with serial number

I recently bought a caroche and have a bill of sale. But in order for me to make it road worthy it has to have a serial number. Mine does not have the holes in the frame where it was on later 70's carts. I have not found any stamped numbers Anywhere. I figured I can find one someone has sitting and buy an entire cart cheap. I could also use a factory seat and top. But dont have to have those.

A bit confused here. Roadworthy? Or do you mean a serial number for street legal?

Yes. To make it street legal. I do not think mine originally had the serial plate on the frame under the drivers seat. I have been told I have an early model. The city wants a serial number on their paperwork and so does insurance. They said i can go the way of filing for a new number or custom built title but easier to buy and old frame and swap over

What about just buying a tag with a “serial number” stamped on it?

What are other Caroche numbers like? You can model it after that. You can assign your own number to it since this is for insurance reasons. Same as you can do for anything else you own.

I don't know where you have looked, or if this will help, but I found two serial number tags on my Caroche/sport coupe.
Look inside the passenger side wheel well. and also under the front body, but I never found that one until I removed the front body.
Good luck,

I was curious what two locations exactly I just cleaned rear wheel wells no tag or numbers, I also sanded both I beams under the seats with no tag or numbers stamped in. I even had front end off n cleaned it up a bit but didnt focus a lot of time checking that area. Noone suggested under the front. Any help will be greatly appreciated I been looking for serial numbers for 2 months

I know this post is over a year old, but my 1971 Caroche serial number is on the passenger's side. Just below the glovebox and all the way to the right. Just inside the body, stamped in the aluminum.
