Unbolting the motor?
Do you have to pull the rear apart to unbolt the motor? By the way it looks i think i have to.Its a mid 80's 3 wheel.Its going to emp!! Hopefully when i get more cash.

Is this a T motor? Meaning the motor and the rear end make a T shape? I'll ask my father-in-law tomorrow. We were discussing the years E-Z-GO went to the newer rear end earlier today...

That input shaft if probly rusted on. My melex was the same way. Get some WD40 or something and spray in there to try and loosen it up and then tap on it to loose up. The think weighs about 80lbs if I remember right. You don't have to unbolt the rear. Also...that motor has bearings on BOTH ends.

Yes its the t shaped axle, what bolts hold it on?And would i have to drain the rear?

there should be two bolts near the end of the motor that hold it on... sorry I don't have any pictures for you..

O.k. those were the bolts i thought, i was just wondering because there only like 1/2inch bolts.
