Par car year id. Can't find vin.

I just recently bought a pair of Columbia par car carts. And I can't find the tags any where. I looked under the passenger dash don't see any tags. Is there any othe way to tell? I'm guessing its early 90s just form the condition. It's a 4 wheel two stroke gas cart. I need to order some parts so I need to verify the year first. Any info would be great thanks!! John

There should be a data tag on the frame above the left rear wheel. Older ones had the VIN there. Might take some cleaning to get to it.

Maybe I am missing something but that vin really isn't making any sense, Autoplanet. Are you sure that's the cart vin and the not the vin of a specific part or something? Typically, the first two digits of the vin denote the year but 12w doesn't fit this numbering convention.

Google "what year is my cart" and you will find a host of websites that offer information on how to determine the year of just about any type of cart. I just checked out a few and that vin doesn't fit in anywhere. It seems as if most charts stop at 2002 though.

Also, if you go to the Columbia Par Car website they offer to date your cart if you provide them with a vin. You way want to go that route if all else fails.
