03 DS won't charge

alright batteries are for sure good, but i did find a burnt spot on the module with the neg cable going thru it. Could this be my problem?

are you talking about the silver metel thing that the cable goes thur? if so thats the OBC and while i have never seen one with a burnt spot it sure enough can be bad.................................

no theres a beside the obc , that is white or tanish that is connected to the obc? or is the box with the cover over it the speed controller?

mike i don,t know what we are talking about unless its some kind of voltage reducer...........maybe someone else has a clue but if it is a voltage reducer it wouldn,t be the problem......more than likely from symtons its a OBC......................

yes the only other box would be the controller if its about 2 inches high by 5 inches by 12 inches long approx. with lots of wires and cables bolted and plugged into it........if the controller has a burnt spot thats not good and yes it can be bad...............if you can try and smell it if it smells burnt than its bad....................................
