Well I unhooked the governor arm on the transaxle of my buggie , one question is it safe to run it full speed ? I did not unhook the rev limiter as it kicks in just fine .

It is not a good idea. The rev limiter will reach it's limit, kill the
fire to the plug, all the while you are standing on the pedal, then
when the motor comes back into the limiter, BANG! A backfire.
If YOU are the only one driving this car, YOU know this is gonna
happen, You can keep it under the rev limit. It won't take you
long to know YOUR limit on the pedal. If others are driving the
car, you just may be pulling it back home some day.

not real familiar with cc's. with ez-go's, the govenor has a couple flies on the inside, that when ran too fast, can come off and f up your transmission.
