Possible Damage?
Hello Semi new to this game. I purchased a 1999 Gas Club Car a couple of years ago. After purchase I adjusted the transaxle govener until it bounced off the rev limiter, re-tightened not let rotate freely and disconnected the rev limiter. On long runs the low oil light would come on so I would slow until the oil light went off. All well and good. Now that my 15 year old has his learners permit and has been out with the cart I have either noticed or my mind is generating a click on off throttle coasting. He told me that the cart would beat everyones cart down hill untill "it started to slow down on it's own" I'm thinking he might have starved the oil system by slinging the oiil in the sump to long. Any comments? Thanks

Re: Possible Damage?
Are you running 30 Weight oil?
I have read that you can go to a multi weight oil and fix the low oil light problem.... My two carts are stock so I don't have your problem.... I run OW-30W Mobil ONE Synthetic......Please do your own research :) Bill |

Currently running 10W30 Valvoline Full Synthetic. It has always turned on the low oil light after extended high speed.

Re: Possible Damage?
Is the light on the dash a low oil level or low oil pressure light?
