This isnt a efi cart but its a yamaha and it serves the same purpose. Just squeeze the spring as tight as you can and tighten the cable tie.

Just like DB shows. My FI with 22inch tires runs 21-22 mph like that.

The fi guys just be carefull with zip tieing the governor all the way and taking the cart on ling extended wide open runs. The fi carts arent like a automobile that have o2 sensors to automatically adjust the amount of fuel needed when running at high rpms. You will end up running the cart lean and doing damage to the engine. Same idea goes for the carb carts at high extended rpms. This is the reason plowmans sells the jet kit and free flow air intake to eliminate the risk of running lean at high rpms. Months ago don did mention to me that he would have a fi controller to increase fuel as needed in the future sometime.

Mine maxes out at 2800-3000 rpm with the governor zip tied. So far it is holding up great but the longest I have ran it like that is 1/2 a mile.

Same here my 2013 carb maxes out at around 3000 rpms as well with the zip tie all the way tight. Gets to max speed fast but then you feel the governor kick back in.

Hey specularius be sure to change your oil over to a good synthetic like mobil 1 10w 30 since you have zip tied your governor.
