Here is a video of your clutch. Dont believe the one you have is made anymore but tbe video will show you the updated style. No way in hell that guy put the spring on the new style clutch by hand. Also you will see how easy he put the belt on. This new style clutch requires a newer belt. Video isnt too honest.

That's almost scary to watch. He took a spring for a Team secondary and then installed it in the new style replacement. They're not the same thing, and there are no spring tabs in the replacement spring to set in place for preload, which the new style clutch requires. The diameter is slightly smaller which explains the belt going on easier. I'd be willing to bet that the performance of the cart is not what they expected.

I was thinking the same thing as you. On the YouTube page that the link takes us to in the upper right-hand corner there is link to another video about taking apart the new style clutch. He explains about the spring tabs and how to use them, and even gives a tension chart at the end of the video.

Spudgunman from the conversation I had with Don at Plowman’s Carts and looking at his website, the YDR performance kit was developed using the TEAM old style clutches. Where I bought my cart from, they had already replaced the drive clutch with a newer style clutch and reused the old style driven clutch. In my conversation with Don, because I didn’t have the old style TEAM clutch I would have to buy one from him to get the YDR extreme lifted performance Kit. From some other posts I have read, if I have it right, if your clutches are too worn to be machined they will need to be replaced also.
