also one of the biggest things to check, is .004 clearnece on your valves , its easy to do, 10mm socket and pop off the valve cover, and right there they are. just needs a med flat head screwdriver and a 10mm wrence and your good to go.
clean fuel.
id recommend a full tune up kit from ebay, about 45 bucks, replace generator belt, drive belt, oil filter, spark plug, air filter.
and then go have fun!!!!

Thanks for the info! That's crazy on the fuel milage. I went ahead and filled mine with mid grade non ethanol. I need to pull the carb and run through it because it dosen't like to start without the choke. I did notice a spare set of leaf springs in the bed when I bought the cart and it seems to lean to the drivers side. I will swap out springs when I install the lift.

the starting issue could be linked to the valves, as the fuel deliver system is vacum setup.
check all your fuel lines to make sure no cracks in lines to cause it to leak the pressure.

let me guess. you can hit the gas and it will turn over and crank away for a while and then after 45 seconds it will finally start up and run just fine???

I have to feather the pedal to get it to start without the choke. If I put it to the floor I get nothing until after she is warm, then anything goes.

Do a check of the valve adjustment and verify good fuel flow. Clean the carb and go with it.

Well it's been awhile but I have managed to change out the front springs with a set that came with the cart. I guess the set was from an older cart because it moved the front axle forward a good bit. Next on the list was some cheap lights from the zone, and finally I had an old T-top off of a boat and I needed a top on the old girl so here we are.

How do you find non ethanol fuel? If I could find it I would use it in all the things around my place

I was going to pull the cowl off to paint, but the bolts said it wasn't happening.
