Default 1987 club car with a Kawasaki flathead motor

I bought a 1987 club car DS started it up and drove it around rod broke cracked the block is there any options out there on motors that I can put in this club card without putting another $1,000 in this car

You could do the econo clone swap for about $500-600.

I see brandnewengines at 888-862-2368 has the lifan 420cc clone on sale for $299 with free shipping.Then get the engine and S/G mounts along with the steel clutch adapter from vegascarts for another $240 with free shipping .Most of the major issues are taken care of with a 3 year warranted engine and a quality installation kit all for a total of $540.You will still have to adapt the throttle cable and fuel lines.I don't know on the club cart about the air cleaner height and exhaust outlet but there is plenty of help here if you get into a jam you can't solve yourself.There are all kinds of threads in the clone section of big blocks here on BGW.
