Default Speed Sensor Magnet Replacement

What is the trick to replacing the magnet and e clip?

Bought a Drive2 with DC. Installed a XCT from ScottyB, only to discover a speed sensor issue. Magnet was in pieces. Went to install new one and broke it as I tried to get the E-clip on. Have a new magnet, but I'm scared to break it, and I know it shouldn't be this hard.

It's a pain, and I've accidentally broke some too. That's just how it goes.

Thank you for the post. I stopped being a sissy and got it on. Sometimes what seems like no advice, actually is the best advice!! Got her all back together.

On a side note, my buddy just finished a 196x Mini Cooper build, and had a set of wheels with new 175/50r13 tires on it. Believe it or not, same bolt pattern, and near identical back spacing, so bolted them up and they look like they were meant to be.
